Who are you, and how did you get in here?
I’m a firefighter, and… I’m a firefighter (apologies to Leslie Nielsen)
But seriously.
For some background, I’m a firefighter, a paramedic who has completed some critical care education, and a rescue technician, with an educational background in business and economics. I’m the primary author here at KT Strategic, although I do intend to invite guest contributors from time to time.
I’m also an instructor for a local community college’s EMS program, I teach adult and pediatric advanced life support classes under the auspices of a local hospital system, and I’m a Stop the Bleed instructor as well as a member of Tactical Medical Solutions‘ Associate Trainer Program. KT Strategic is also now a proud provider of TECC recognized educational content! I’m working on obtaining additional credentials as well, because I’m a sucker for punishment I guess.
I write mostly for fun, but hopefully for at least a tiny bit of profit as well – at least enough to keep things running. I’m from the upper midwest of the good ‘ol USA, and have an intense curiosity about, well, basically everything. So if you have a suggestion for something I should review or look at, or manufacture or sell gear you’d like me to review, I’d be happy to entertain any ideas you might have.
Please feel free to reach out to me by e-mail (mail@), Instagram or Facebook. I can also be found on my YouTube channel sporadically, if you prefer video content.
Stay safe out there!
