Classin’ it up (pockets, pt 7)

Case Jack Knife – link here

In case it’s not already obvious, I’m a huge knife guy. This knife here is my go-to for when I’m wearing a suit. It’s not necessarily the only one I’ll have on my person, but it’ll be my go-to if I need a knife for utility tasks.

I like it for a couple reasons – the two blades are nice just for the simple fact that I have options if I want them, and the build quality is top notch. It holds an edge beautifully, and the blades are large enough to be useful, but small enough that nobody raises an eyebrow if I take it out of my pocket.

Also, the build quality extends to the lock-up of the slip joint – I’ve handled knives that make me nervous to use, and this is not one of them in any way, I’m quite impressed with how solidly it opens, without a true “lock”.

Now, I personally like the size of the blades and the configuration of the Jack Knife, but there are plenty of blade and handle configurations offered by the good folks at Case, and I’m sure they’re all of similar quality – if you want something similar but slightly different, I’d encourage you to take a look at their offerings, I can virtually guarantee you’ll find something to suit your tastes.

Until next time.
