This is the Hario Skerton ceramic coffee grinder. That thing in the background is a duck for holding sponges, ignore that. We’re talking about the coffee grinder today.
Overall I’m a fan of it, the grind quality is top notch and the way the grinder works makes it very easy to replicate the same grind size over and over.
My biggest complaint is how long it takes to grind coffee by turning the hand crank – not a huge deal, but mildly annoying. That said, if you want a high quality, inexpensive and reliable hand grinder, you can’t beat this one.
I did perform one… small modification to help speed things up.
So much better.
