Check it out! This is the Cobra Cutter, by MilSpec Plastics – these guys make all kinds of cool (I believe all, but at least majority USA made) stuff!
This cutter is intended for use with their Cobra Cuffs, which those of you on Instagram will have already noticed I have some of. Look for a review of those soon…
However, as someone in fire/EMS as opposed to their usual .mil and LE customers, I immediately saw potential for this cutter as a tool for folks in this industry. In fact, there may be a variant coming with an additional feature soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
The coolest thing about this cutter is that it’s basically indestructible – in fact, it’s so tough that it’s actually approved for use in a corrections environment, even with the sharp metal blade built in!
It’s got a keychain hole too, so it can be stored on a lanyard, keychain or badge holder with no issues.
