If you’re thinking about a whetstone, but aren’t sure what to do, I’d encourage you to look in to the Worksharp instead – other than a free sample, I have no financial interest in your purchase, but I think it’s a happy medium for someone who doesn’t know a ton about sharpening knives but wants to get started on their own.
