So, through some lucky coincidences and a bit of chatting, I had the good fortune to encounter a kind sales rep for Intersurgical – they’re the folks behind a bunch of respiratory products, but those of you in EMS may be familiar with their iGel supraglottic airway.
Well, it turns out they also make a single-use video laryngoscope, which I was fortunately able to get my hands on and check out; I’ve made a short video about it you can see below!
Overall I’m quite impressed with it – it comes in an individual sealed blister pack, and the only thing it doesn’t do that many video scopes do is record video, but for the price and the disposability, once can forgive that.
